The Saatchi Cafe and Gallery
Conversion of the former Duke of York’s Headquarters off the Kings Road in Chelsea, to form a restaurant and cafe with art gallery at first floor to compliment the main gallery spaces.
The concept was to maintain the unique historically significant aspects of the existing building whilst installing and adapting this to accommodate the kitchen, serving area, seating and gallery spaces.
The final design incorporates two seating areas, kitchen and servery, bar area and gallery space at the first floor. The design mixes an eclectic range of art from the Saatchi collection alongside the cafe installation.
